Every book in your dispatch meets our Worn Pages Condition Standard: structurally sound binding, no missing pages, absolutely no annotations or highlighting of any kind, and no water damage. Books may carry gentle signs of their history — a previous owner's name, tanned pages, or a soft crease — which we consider part of their character. We grade every book Very Good or better before it enters our archive.

Yes. Every member has a unique reading journey. We maintain a full dispatch history and never repeat a title in your subscription.

While we take great care to align our curations with your selected reading profiles, part of the charm of The Worn Pages is the serendipity of discovery—encountering rare gems and forgotten classics you might never have picked off a shelf yourself.

That said, we are devoted to providing an exceptional experience for our members. Should your package be lost in transit, encounter shipping mishaps, or if a volume arrives damaged, we will gladly dispatch a replacement at no cost to you. If a particular selection simply does not speak to your soul, you may easily refine your literary preferences inside the member portal at any time to guide our future curations.

Each volume is carefully selected and hand-curated specifically for you. Your box will ship approximately 15 days after our curatorial selection is finalized. You will receive an email containing a tracking link the moment your box departs our archives, and every dispatch is fully insured.
